Shanghai - On the 7th China International Import Exposition (CIIE), and in the year of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China, the France China Committee (FCC) held its 10th Innovation Awards ceremony in the presence of His Excellency the French Ambassador to China Bertrand LORTHOLARY and several Chinese officials.
During the ceremony, FCC has awarded to Adisseo Research & Innovation with the FrancoChinese Innovation Award 2024 for its project to improve the quality of Ammonium Sulfate produced at the Adisseo Nanjing plant, the largest liquid methionine production plant in the world, boosting both its competitiveness and profitability. This trophy is an exceptional recognition of Adisseo R&I teams in their scientific and innovation capabilities.
The award has been handed over to the two franco-Chinese Adisseo projects leaders, Nui Lei and Olivier Brasseur during the Conference on Franco-Chinese innovation “A Decade of FrancoChinese innovation for shared progress” on November 6th, in presence of Dc Hao Zhigang, CEO of Adisseo, Frederic JACQUIN, President deputy and Chief Operation Officier, ZHU Xiaolei, General Manager of Adisseo China and Fabien SIGUIER, Executive Vice President HR and Transformation.
Initiated in 2014, this award, led by French company association (MEDEF) and the China International Chamber of Commerce, is transversal to all kind of industry. It aims to reward the most innovative projects developed either by Franco-Chinese teams or in a global context encompassing France and China and highlights the quality and scientific based of innovation, the profit generation, and the reality and benefit of Franco-Chinese teams cooperations. The Innovation Awards are sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. They are also supported by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France and Mr. JeanPierre RAFFARIN, former French Prime minister, is the special ambassador for the Awards.
