Over 8,000 B Corp Certified businesses celebrate B Corp Month 2024 around the globe by sharing how they move forward together to pave the way for better business.

The annual campaign launches today, uniting companies across 96 countries and 162 industries that employ more than 750,000 workers to show how the B Corp community is moving business forward. B Corps will celebrate how they are continuously improving their impact to create more inclusive workspaces, improve their climate impact, and respond to the world's ever-changing issues. Because getting certified as a B Corp isn’t the end of the road – it’s just the beginning.

Most B Corps keep improving their impact over time. When it was time to renew their B Corp Certification, 63% increased their impact score(1). Throughout March, the improvement-focused community will showcase what it means to be a B Corp by sharing the inspiring breadth of ways they are moving, changing, and growing impact to create a better future for everyone.

Celebrated globally, the most memorable part of B Corp Month is the community: expect to see innovative collaborations, pop-up shops, influencer outreach, limited-edition products, special events, and shout-it-from-the-rooftops pride. B Lab will be supporting this celebration, notably:

  - The B Corp community in the U.S. & Canada will be gathering at the catalytic and inspirational event, Champions Retreat, in Vancouver, British Columbia (18-22 March)

  • Over twenty exciting events and cross-promotions are planned across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand on topical themes like progressing the retail industry (13 March)

  • In Tokyo, current and aspiring B Corps will kick off the month together to discuss how the community is evolving; the first event hosted by a new B Market Builder Japan (8 March)

  • The UK is hosting the first-ever pop-up B Corp bar in London, and encouraging creative storytelling to raise awareness in art-based activation, The Art of Progress (March)

  • B Corps in Africa will gather for an in-person community event in Nairobi (27 March)

  • Across Latin America, expect a celebration of culinary B Corps: a B Sunset wine tasting hosted by B Corp wineries in Argentina, and B Corp brands front-and-center on Mercado Libre. Plus spot the traveling giant ‘B’ visiting B Corps in Peru and Colombia! (March)

  • In Europe, B Corp Month will unite B Corps from over 30 countries at the inaugural B Corp Summit in Slovenia (11 March) and Meet the B Corps in Dublin (21 March).

  • B Corps will gather in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, to raise awareness and learn more about B Corp Certification with B Market Builder Southeast Asia (6-7 March)

“As companies who care for people, profit, and the planet in equal parts, B Corps are leading the way on how the business sector can influence a better, bolder, brighter future,” said Clay Brown, Interim Lead Executive of B Lab Global. “As consumers, workers, and investors, our collective influence has the power to demonstrate the demand for business as a force for good.”

B Corp businesses are always on the move, looking for new ways to improve their impact – even after they’ve been certified. And these actions all add up:

  • B Corps are twice as likely to use 100% renewable energy than a non-B Corp.

  • B Corps are twice as likely to be led by majority-female management teams, and there are over 1,800 women-owned B Corps.

  • 119,000 workers can own shares in their B Corp company, with 26% of B Corps allowing employees to own a piece of their company.

Certified B Corporations are leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. Unlike other certifications, B Lab’s B Impact Assessment is unique in that it measures a company’s social and environmental impact holistically, considering various stakeholders. As leaders in the movement for economic systems change, B Corps reap remarkable benefits. They build trust with consumers, communities, and suppliers; attract and retain employees; and draw mission-aligned investors. In turn, this growing community is redefining our measures of business success and prosperity, and by definition focused on continuous improvement, leading to their long-term resiliency, financial health, and longevity.
