This January 19th to the 22nd, Guadalajara will be bustling – and not simply because of its historic center dotted with festive restaurants and boisterous mariachi music. During these four days, Expo Guadalajara will be home to the bi-annual IM Intermoda Mexico, the largest fashion trade show in all of Latin America.
Since its inception three decades ago, Intermoda has established itself as not only the biggest, but also the most important event within Mexico’s fashion industry. The show – happening twice a year every January and July – is a chance for professionals in all sectors of the fashion world to meet and establish relationships. It is a network where designers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, makeup artists, importers and exporters can coexist and share work through exhibitions, conferences, workshops and business meetings.
This year, as all other years, Intermoda will draw in a diverse audience of both domestic and global participants, with projected visitors reaching 24,000 throughout the four-day span. Professionals from around the world, including Argentina, the United States, Peru, Spain, India, and others are expected to be in attendance.
Besides enjoying a wide exhibition area, designers will be able to present their creations on the Intermoda catwalk and participate in conferences. The trade show will also showcase footwear, accessories, machinery, equipment, textiles, and textile suppliers.
Admission to Intermoda is free and open to the public, assuming one is accredited as a buyer or new entrepreneur. For further information or to register for the show, you can visit http://intermoda.com.mx/en/.
