Regarded as a fashion pioneer of ethical brands, People Tree is the perfect combination of natural and organic materials, Fair Trade, and quality design.

People Tree is one of the pioneering brands in sustainable fashion, created by Safia Minney in the early 1990s in Japan. With more than 20 years of experience, the firm currently has its headquarters in the United Kingdom and a production chain in countries such as Bangladesh and India. They are defined not only by their sustainable fashion but also by their support for fair trade, providing decent working conditions to their more than 10 international distributors and producers. As a mission, People Tree aims to support its different partners to develop a dignified business activity that allows them economic independence; defends the environment and natural resources; and become suppliers of sustainable fashion for all those consumers of ecological and ethical textile products. With a range of products for both women and men, the brand's main target public would be women between 30 and 45 years of age, with an intermediate professional activity and a medium consumption horizon. The purchase motivations of this type of target audience for People Tree are related to personal values and their role in society.   Pioneers in Sustainable Certification People Tree launched its first fashion range to meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified by the Soil Association and was the first fashion company to receive the Global Fair Trade Organization product label. These certifications endorse People Tree's dedication and compliance with fair trade principles, which encompass fair wages, good working conditions, transparency, best environmental practices, and gender equality. The brand actively supports its workshops and grows the community, empowering women with their own businesses or schooling children with various programs. Manufacturing is ethical for people and the environment; natural resources are used properly, working conditions are fair, clothing is free of harmful azo chemicals, and plastics and toxic substances are avoided. With these aspects in mind, People Tree offers a wide range of sustainable and ethical fashion.

Dedicated to providing ethically produced fashion collections to the consumer, People Tree is a fervent supporter of movements that promote fair wages and careful manufacturing with respect to the individual and the planet. The brand partners with Fair Trade certified farmers and artisans in the manufacture of its ethically produced sustainable fashion. In addition, the company emphasizes the importance of eco-conscious practices.

People Tree garments are made with pesticide-free organic cotton or a TENCEL™ blend, a soft, synthetic finish that "drapes well and wicks away moisture". The company is also pioneering the "first integrated supply chain with organic cotton from farm to finished product".
