Première Vision Paris prides itself on change. Season after season, the French tradeshow has learned to consolidate six mutually complementary shows, allowing fashion and textile exhibitors to showcase their wares while attendees can source items and feel inspired.
These "strategic changes" were ramped up in February with the
launch of a new common brand. Now, the September edition, featuring the latest designs for Fall/Winter 2016/16, has reorganized its Premiere Vision Fabric off-shoot, for a better understanding of key materials and trends.
The main change is the reorganization of the sectors and grouping fabrics into "product universes". The idea is to group together - and redefine - existing areas to reflect "the diversity and development of the collections, to facilitate the readability of the offer at Première Vision Fabrics," said PV in a statement.
This means the tradeshow's former sections have been tweaked, reducing the number of sectors from 19 to 11to become "more readable and better showcased," added PV.
"The streamlined readability of the offer is complemented by digital tools (e-catalog, smartphone
app) that can complement the visit experience provided by the show’s organisation by products,
through refined exhibitors’ searches, guided tours by business activity, style universe or specific
techniques," continued PV in a statement.
The 11 fabric categories are:
Knits - circular knits for t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, jackets and outer-layer garments, for casual or sophisticated markets.
