Summersalt is a clothing brand that defines generations and provides women's closet essentials that go a long way. Summersalt launched in 2017 with swimwear made from recycled materials. Its main premise was to provide high-quality swimwear without the designer price tag. Since then, it introduced additional categories such as underwear, knits, sleepwear, intimate apparel and sportswear. Summersalt items are fashionable, sophisticated and known for its impeccable fit backed by data based on millions of measurements from over 10,000 women. It was founded with the mission to bring back the childlike joy of wearing a bathing suit by offering quality designer swimwear at an affordable price.

In just a few short years since our inception, Summersalt has built loyal fanbase of customers and followers, influencers and celebrities while receiving praise from top fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and ELLE. In 2019, Summersalt was listed on CNBC's Upstart 100 list and was also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in 2020.

Following the brand’s success, it decided to launch its international shipping service in 2021 and began shipping to more than 180 countries in over 120 different currencies. Summersalt now ships to Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and more. International customers will receive a localized shopping experience based on relevant currency, language and payment preferences, guaranteed customs, tax and shipping estimates. According to Summersalt’s CEO Lori Coulter, this logical next step for the brand was an ideal way to mirror its customers’ love of travel and jet-setting around the world.

Body Positivity Campaign

In May of this year, the direct-to-consumer brand continues to challenge the outdated view of swimwear and who should wear it, and highlights the true beauty of women everywhere by showcasing a diverse and inspiring group of women in its latest campaign. Twenty-seven prominent women between the ages of 18 and 63, including actress and producer Jenna Ushkowitz, thirteen lune co-founder Nyakio Grieco, and award-winning writer and activist Eli Erlick appeared in the campaign.

The women in the campaign represent a diverse group of activists, entrepreneurs and committed changemakers who are doing incredible things today. They constantly challenge the status quo, while breaking records, innovating in their respective fields and always staying true to their authentic selves. The campaign is a call for inclusion because “Every Body is a Summersalt Body”.
